What I did in photoshop today

I did what I said I wanted to do today in Photoshop, I used various parts out of pictures, basically just a thing or two out of a couple of pictures and mashed them together to make it look like a epic battle was taking place.

The first picture is the original, the second one is edited.
Today I will be trying to create my own image on Photoshop from scratch as well as playing around with backgrounds and changing them to something completely different.

Monday, 25 November 2013

I got two images from google, Superman and a cannibis leaf, I then used the magic wand tool to make the image I wanted cut down to the actual size of the image, I then played wabout with the main colours on Superman to make all the red go green in relation to the cananbis leaf, I had to scale the leaf down to make it look like it was Superman's logo. This is my outcome

As you can see the original Superman would be red and blue, he is now green and blue with a cannabis leaf as his logo.

Star Radio

We went to a Radio Sation today called Star Radio, We got told what its like to be in the workplace and how energetic and how fun it can be, But in a Radio Sation you've got to be commited and passionate about working there, We then got showed what its like to be in the stuio and how everything works and how they don't set up the songs, But someone down Guisbrough using a software called Berty or something along the lines does it, We then watched how they broacast a live news/weather report.

This is the image I worked on, I put the dark sky in the background and I learnt that you can make photoshop blend in colours to make it look more real.
All I'm going to do today is look at how they layer each image and hopefully get some knowledge on how to actually draw each fine detail on each layer.

Graphic Designers

M.C Escher
Technique:
Printmaking is a laborious process. First, Escher started with an idea. Then, he transformed the thought into a drawing, in the case of the print Knots, there were over 70 preparatory sketches.

Escher transferred a mirror image of the final sketch onto a smooth woodblock by using tracing paper. Then he meticulously carved away anything that he didn't want to print. He needed a separate block for each color in the final print.

Microscopic pictures

Close-up photography that looks mint!
I like it because its weird to think that bacteria and insects legs actually look like this but we can't see it with the human eye.

Pictures mate

Macro is a photographers definition of taking close-ups of things to the bitter detail, We had to set it up and take the flash off because the flash would ruin the photo as it would just be a blinding light to the camera, To take a photo using Macro all you have to do is go very close (hand distance) to the object and take a photo, I uploaded these photos directly from the camera's SD card.

The Book of Eli poster

This is what the picture looked like to start off with.

This is when I was editing the picture and this is what it looks like during editing.

.

This is what the picture looked like after I edited it, I added an effect and also put the original title in

I was happy with the result, But I could of put a bit more work into making the title fit in with the actual picture.
